Adding Students

  1. Login to the Web site.

  2. From the Istation Home page, select the classroom to manage from the My Classroom Management box.

  3. Click Add Student(s).


     

  4. Click on or move your cursor to the Student ID field and enter a unique student ID (PEIMS, Skyward, etc.).



     

  5. Press the Tab key to enter the student’s first and last name.

  6. Press the Tab key to move to the next line.

  7. Continue this process until all student account information has been entered.

  8. Click Process >> to add the student accounts to your class list.

If a student is changing classes and you want their passwords to stay the same, first add them to the new class, following the “Add Students” instructions. Then remove them from the old class, following the “Removing Students” instructions. If you want the password to change, remove them first from the old class and then add them to the new class.

Student data is tied to the student’s ID number therefore a student may be added to as many classrooms as is necessary. Add them to the additional classroom(s) with the same ID, first and last name that is used in the original class.  (The user name and password will stay the same.)

Student data is tied to the student’s ID number and not associated with their classroom, therefore, a student can be in as many classrooms as you would like to place them. Just add them to the additional classroom(s) with the same ID, and first and last name.
